For my Sis

Oh!!!! yes, cant just stop there... had to scrap 2 LOs this week... one from previous post (the sketch #81, remember? ...)

And I had to do another one on my dear sis. I realised that both of us seldom take photos together like this one, and I really like how this photo has turned out.

On the layout, I had to try out the flower layering.

Pencil Lines Sketch #81

This is my first (again!!!!! ) time scrapping based on a sketch. I found Pencil Lines and really like the sketches that they've got from the various guest Designer.

Last week, there is this sketch layout by Jana Eubank which uses 3 photos. When I saw that, I really want to give it a try, and I did. And guess what!!!! The timing was great, I received my BadGirls kits early last week as well...

So, this is the result, its titled "LIVE to SMILE Always" :

Updates on LO photos..

Finally, I found a PhotoStitch program which was given to me free when I purchased my Canon camera... happy!!! :-)

Still alot to learn about this new scrapping craft, so you will have to bear with me. I'll try to speed up my learning curve!!!

There u go my 1st 2 LOs which is stitched:
--> 1st LO

--> 2nd LO

Yupe, it's definitely a much, much better view...

And this my 3rd LO, which I explore inking and rub-ons:

Finally, my 1st two layouts...

This is my 1st attempt to scrapbooking...personally it was an enjoyable process for me, because its been awhile since I explore colours, shapes and coordinating between the two. I have been knitting for the last one year and before that I was beading and making my own jewelry, which was a fulfilling experience as well.

My first layout is on my daughter (Jasmine) who is now 5 years old. The photo was taken last year at 4 and a half years old. Loved this photo because she specifically requested for her hair to be pleated and she just posed for me to take a picture of her. It was always difficult to get her to smile naturally, but this time it was different because she was really happy with the hair :-)

And my 2nd attempt, its one of the day that I really wanted to remember. We were at the Perth Royal Show. Its a yearly event in Perth and its not to be missed if you have children. Because beside the rides, there were animals as well. Animals from the farm, like Cows, Sheep, Alpacas and etc.

The first area that we visited were the children rides, there were Merry-go-rounds, Ferris-wheel, Saucer and Cup, Bouncy castles, and lots. The 1st ride which Jasmine wanted to take was this Merry-go-round. Once she was up on her horse, I started to take pictures of her, and I think she realised that its a little scarry. This is when she couldn't smile, so she fake one for the pictures.

Adios!

My first attempt

Well as stated above, this is my first attempt to start blogging. Had always wanted to start one but just had to find time to ensure that I could continue to blog continuously.

Today, finally I have added some finishing touches to my second layout. I am very happy with the outcome and started to plan out my next 2 projects. Will take photos of my layouts and upload them here. Hopefully, I could do it tomorrow.

Good nite!
